Dear Parent,
Thank you for your interest in Open Arms Christian Child Development Center. Open Arms Christian CDC’s goal is to serve the families of our community with the highest quality Christian early education. We provide a safe and loving environment for your child while you are at work.
At Open Arms, we recognize parents as the primary providers of care and nurturing. We partner with parents for the overall growth and development of the child. Parents are encouraged to visit and volunteer whenever possible, and special family events will be planned throughout the year at the Center.
Our program has been developed to meet the needs of children 6 weeks to 12 years old. Here at Open Arms we know each child is a special creation of God. Set in a Christian environment, our program provides experiences that enrich and enhance each child’s spiritual, cognitive, language, social, emotional, and physical development.
Within the center’s daily schedule, each child has opportunities to create, explore the environment, learn problem solving and personal interaction skills, and learn concepts through first hand experiences. Play is the primary learning mode. Children develop a positive self-concept through a balance of self-directed and teacher-directed activities. Opportunities for solitary play as well as group activities are provided. Staff members serve as positive role models and provide care that is supportive, nurturing, warm, and responsive to each child’s individual needs.
On the forms webpage you will find enrollment forms, the parent handbook, and other relevant information needed to begin the enrollment process. If you have any questions about these forms or general questions about the program, please phone us at 605-361-7200, email office@resurrectionlutheransf.org, or stop by. We look forward to having you and your child join the Open Arms family.
God bless,
